This Privacy Policy describes how CaveRush ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you play CaveRush.

Information We Collect

When you play CaveRush, we may collect the following information:

Account information — if you sign in via Apple, Google, Facebook, or X (Twitter), we receive a unique identifier and display name from that provider.
Player name — the in-game name you choose when you enter the cave.
Game scores and statistics — your high scores, challenge progress, rank, and gameplay stats displayed on your profile and the leaderboard.
Device and session data — basic technical information such as browser type, operating system, and session identifiers used to keep the game running.

How We Use Your Information

To display your player name and scores on the leaderboard.
To save your game progress and statistics across sessions.
To authenticate you securely via your chosen sign-in provider.
To improve gameplay and fix bugs.

Third-Party Services

CaveRush uses Firebase (provided by Google) for authentication and data storage. Your data is stored on Firebase's servers and subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Sign-in is handled by the provider you choose (Apple, Google, Facebook, or X). We only receive the identifier and display name they share with us. Please review each provider's own privacy policy for details on how they handle your data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Leaderboard data (player name and scores) is visible to all players by design.

Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as you have an active account. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at the address below.

Children's Privacy

CaveRush is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will note the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of CaveRush after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
